ART GALLERY

Mind Body Art Heart Scans™ :
A Gallery of Artistic Emotions.

I sit down, take a few deep breaths—or maybe I don’t—and check in with myself.

What am I feeling right now? What’s moving around inside me today?

I reflect. Think. Ponder. And then I begin. There’s no plan. I don’t need one.

I turn the paper over, write the date, and add a few simple words—maybe a short sentence—to capture the feeling of that moment.
Nothing lengthy. Just a few honest words that give the emotion a name.

Then I create, letting intuition, imagination, and the art itself take over.
I reach for whatever supplies are calling me—usually watercolor, although that’s evolving too. Colors meet. Lines appear.
Shapes grow and change. I follow what’s happening on the paper rather than deciding where it should go.

These are my Energy Vibration pieces—intuitive, emotional little snapshots of a moment in time.
A way of getting the energy out of my head and heart and onto the paper.

They are small visual expressions of a feeling, a moment, an energy that needed somewhere to go.

No plan. No perfection. Just feeling, color, line, shape—and letting the image find its own way

Above are images from what I call my Mind Body Heart Art®

These pieces are available as 5" × 7" prints, and they can also be created in other sizes to fit your space.

Love several? We can create a trifecta of three images, a grouping, or something completely different. I’m also a digital artist,
which means I can play with size, arrangement, combinations, and possibilities while keeping the spirit of the original artwork intact.

If one of these pieces speaks to you—or sparks an idea of your own— drop me an email. Let’s play with the possibilities and create something that feels just right for you.

Thanks for looking, -Liz

MIND BODY HEART ART BUNDLES

A perfect gift. A gallery of four themes of artistic emotions.

Here’s the Scoop:

What’s Inside?
Each bundle is built around one of four themes:

Courage • Resilience • Hope • Two Sides to Everything
The featured themes and artwork will change periodically, so there will always be something new to discover.

Each bundle includes:

  • One 5" × 7" print on archival watercolor paper, protected in a cello sleeve with a backing board.

  • Three greeting cards — one featuring the same artwork as your print, plus two other emotion-inspired designs.

  • A reusable muslin cotton drawstring bag, hand-stamped with the logo for your bundle’s theme.

  • A small organza bag with a crystal, thoughtfully selected to complement the meaning and intention of your bundle.

  • A keepsake disk that doubles as a coaster — a little something beautiful and useful.

Each bundle is thoughtfully put together around its theme, making each one a little different.

Why This Bundle?

Because we could all use a little more love, encouragement, and compassion.

Whether you’re treating yourself or giving one to someone you care about, these bundles are meant to be more than a gift. They’re a small reminder that sometimes a thoughtful image, a few encouraging words, or simply knowing someone is thinking of you can brighten a day.

And really, “just because” is reason enough.

Prop the artwork somewhere you’ll see it often—beside your desk, on a shelf, or tucked into a favorite little corner—and let its message become a daily touchstone.

A little courage when you need it.
A reminder of your resilience.
A bit of hope.
Or perhaps a nudge to see another side of things.

A little art. A little meaning. A little something to carry with you.

Gallery from the Dis-ease
of cancer

I was terrified when I first discovered I was seriously ill with cancer. As I should be!

The fear of the unknown, the fear of CANCER. I had barely ever been in a hospital, and I thought I was not someone who was supposed to get cancer. I had always been pretty healthy!

So the story of the wolves began. In the first months, the wolves were scary; they were the unknown. They were lurking behind corners, doors, walls, procedures, and everything that was new to me. They were the unpleasant surprises that were part of my life and days.

This red/yellow image was in the early stages. It is much like I felt:

Murky, lots of red, and fuzzy. I had no idea this would turn into a life-altering journey and a robust series of artwork.

Fear was what I was drawing here.

This middle image of the wolves series.

As I became more comfortable and self-assured, the harsh red color warmed to pink tones and the wolves are now prominent, and their faces much less fierce. The glints of yellow radiate a warmth from the center.

At the end of my path, things were very different with the wolves.

Now they were my protectors. My friends! My spirit animals for my mind and thoughts.

Then the third image with the wolves.

I made it while waiting to receive my hopeful, healthy-clean scan. I was finished with my planned treatment program, and if this scan looked good, I was moving on to remission.

I was VERY nervous. I had a two-hour wait while sitting outside on a beautiful spring day and was once again in tears of fear. I told myself to follow my own learned skills and advice.

To calm my mind and understand those fears better, I needed to do a drawing.

When I start drawing, I often have no idea what will become visible. I create quickly, flowing from my mind into my hand and onto my iPad.

First, I drew my blue face. I looked at it–saw the color and the scared look in my eyes; then my friends, the wolves, showed up. They have such a different feeling here–they helped me have peace of mind and courage. Did you notice how the wolves look calm and friendly here?

I needed to walk into that office and the scan machine and remember, I was feeling well, and I had good reasons to hope for good results.

This is truly my version of intuitive art–none of it is pre-planned.

Art helps heal me.

Seven ways I ultimately understood my fears. Realized they were attributions of courage - and vital for my healing

1. Believe in myself and listen to my body and mind.

Listen to all medical advice–traditional and non-traditional, friends and family, and throw everything you can at healing and getting well. That is your MAJOR job right now.

2.Positive thought - Keep a clear and positive mind as much as possible.
Positive thinking is key! You HAVE to believe in yourself and that you can do this.

3. Have an outlet:
For me, it was digital drawing, illustration, a way to comprehend and deal with cancer.

4. Decide how much you want to share and how you want to share it.
When I hit milestones- like a chemo treatment, I added words to the drawings and short journaling about how I was feeling and what was going on. It let me share without having to talk about it. I sent it out to friends and family.

5. Know what you want your outcome to be.
I allowed myself to believe my utlimatium was GOOD HEALTH.

6. Surround yourself with love and support as much as you can.
Meditation groups, patient groups, church groups, illness groups, wellness groups…Find your community.

7. REST, your body needs it to heal.
It's a good idea to sleep. Try to quiet your mind–art, walking, and meditation work for me.

Greet your fears: Wave to them, say hello, and invite them in for a cup of tea.

"Thanks to Liz, I have a daily reminder that 'done' is better than 'perfect'. And some days, that’s been what gets me through.  I met Liz at a vulnerable time in my life, and since then, I have learned that her art and personality are a testament to the power of art to keep your spirit alive when you need it to survive. And you get that energy from her art. As my family and I move into our space, I look forward to being able to hang her art in my house because you can never have too much good energy around you.”
